Rose Bank Winery

1 of 5 stars - The wines on offer are almost uniformly terrible. What's worse is, by contractual agreement, one is restricted to serving only wines of the Rose Bank label at events hosted at the winery. The contract for renting the facilities also indicates that arrangements may be made to have Rose Bank obtain permits from Newtown Township for tents and canopies. However, after the contract was signed, the proprietor of the winery contradicted the terms of the contract by stating that permits aren't needed because they no longer allow tents or canopies! When this obvious contradiction of terms was brought to his attention, he couldn't have been more unhelpful, and he made no attempt at offering an explanation for this sudden, and gross, breach of contract.

J. W. MORRIS WINERIES 2005 J.W. Morris Merlot

5 of 5 stars - Well wine snobs...it's very good and based on taste to price it excels beyond all others! I looked up the vintner because I have been pleased over and over again by J. W. Morris red wines. They are very inexpensive to be sure and yet surpass the vast majority of wines that are four to six times the price. When I discovered that the wine is produced in a region that produces some of my favorite Zinfandels I was not really surprised, though greatly pleased. It makes sense. The vines meet the vintners!

Thank you J.W. Morris for providing a very high quality product at a very very reasonable price.

Two buck chuck belongs to your depthless price competitors. Place a different label on your product and command a much higher price. But please keep labeling these also ; ))

5 of 5 stars - I have been a wine drinker for many years and this is an amazing wine for the price. I have had wines that cost 10 times as much not come near the cabernet. I would recommend this without hesitation and serve it at large dinner parties.

5 of 5 stars - Dear David,

Thank you so much for handling the order placed by my sister and brother-in-law. We are all enjoying the wines, so glad we found you in Colorado. Thank you also for the nice ladies top, pens, corkscrew and toothpick holder. It was like Christmas! I wore the top this weekend and advertised for you in the Bay Area. Please keep our email on file and notify me when you begin distributing in California. Until then, we'll continue to use the internet.

Sincerely,
Lisa Castillo

Two Hands Wines 2004 Gnarly Dudes Shiraz

5 of 5 stars - This is a very hard to get a hold of wine. Spectacular. Excellent example of the sort of wine that South Australia is known for. Bold, brassy red. If you find this particular vintage, grab as many as you can carry or are legally able to buy! Else, ring me, let me know, and I will be happy to get these off your hands.

1 of 5 stars - The wine quality is reminiscent of Boone's. The staff here is extremely rude when you call on the phone they are screaming at people on the other line. They are also very unprofessional and non supportive of community events.

5 of 5 stars - This is an amazing wine!!! Just like eating a grape.

The lady at the winery told us she paired it with a peanut butter dessert at a tasting, and I could definitely see how that would work--like peanut butter and jelly.

TOKARA 2003 Zondernaam Chardonnay

4 of 5 stars - On the nose you pick up mango, zesty lemons, pineapples and peaches. On the palet the wine becomes more complex with great balance between guava, almond, honey, vanilla and hazelnut characters. The wine is very well balanced and will even be better in 2 years time with this firm acidity.
Food: Oysters with a pepper-vinegarette. The oysters brings out the zestiness in the wine, while the pepper-vinegarette enhances the tropical fruit.(mango/pineapple/guava)

Domaine Weinbach / Clos des Capucins 2003 Riesling Schlossberg

5 of 5 stars - I've never experienced a 5 year old Riesling that had so much energy and life than this wine. Hints of diesel and parafine undertones, while rose petals and lavender finish the nose. Excellent balance between the acidity and floral sweetness. This was truly an amazing wine.
$65 per bottle
